NFL insider Adam Schefter says Robert Kraft ‘is not the biggest name involved’ in Florida prostitution ring

The New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution, Florida police said in a Friday press conference.

Kraft was charged with paying for sexual services at Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Florida, according to TCPalm.com. The charges are related to a monthslong investigation by the Florida police into what they say are massage parlors tied to human trafficking. The inquiry has led to the shutdown of 10 spas.

Kraft denied the charges in a statement.

Speaking about the charges on ESPN, the NFL insider Adam Schefter said sources had told him there might be another well-known person tied to the investigation who hasn’t been named.

“There are people down there in that area, I’m told, who say that this story is going to heat up and get a lot worse,” Schefter said, adding, “I’m also told that Robert Kraft is not the biggest name involved down there in South Florida.”

Schefter didn’t hint at who the bigger name could be, or why police would be willing to name Kraft but not that person. But given the wide-ranging scope of the investigation, more information about it is likely to become public soon.
