It looks like Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin aren’t the only ones who are into sickeningly sweet nicknames, as it turns out Camila Mendes‘ man has given her a super cute title too.
Cami’s Riverdale co-star and IRL boyf Charles Melton surprised her with a video message at the E! People’s Choice Awards on Sunday night, and the relatable reason behind her unique pet name was revealed.
While Charles didn’t attend the event, he posed as a fan in a video message, which was played to Cami by E! while she walked the red carpet.
The interviewer, Jason Kennedy, said Charles wanted him to ask “who’s baby dragon?”
“I’m baby dragon!” explained Camila.
She added: “I’m just like a baby dragon, it’s just like who I am inside,” before revealing that Charles chose it especially for her.
“I’m kind of, you know, ferocious a little bit. I’m cute but psycho,” she explained.
Okay, like, same.
“Cute but psycho, like a baby dragon,” she confirmed.
The revelation came after the ‘fan’ asked Camila “What’s it like working with Charles Melton? You guys are really cute together.”
“It’s a lot, very intense. You can’t talk to him, you can’t look at him. He only eats cashews rolled in cheese…. I actually taught him that snack, but you know, whatever”
Sounds like a handful tbh, but we guess him and baby dragon are the perfect match.
