We’d be lying if we said we hadn’t considered the prospect of accidentally on purpose sending Noah Centineo a piece of fan mail confessing our undying love for him.
And now the ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before‘ babe has opened up about whether something like that would go down well. I.e. he’s let us know how he feels about dating a fan.
Buuut hold your pens people, ’cause it looks like he’s not totally mad about the idea.
Speaking to E! News, he revealed: “I don’t close any doors totally, but probably not, because then it’s like more of an infatuation with like, a position more than like, the person.”
The TATBILB babe (now that’s an acronym) added: “It can overshadow that, which is difficult, I would think.”
Ah come on Noah, we promise we won’t let the fact that we’re totally and utterly obsessed with Peter Kavinsky get in the way of us forming a totally mutual relationship.
Okay, we guess we see how it could be a slight issue.
And on the topic of rejection, Noah also dished on how Lana Condor (Lara Jean) totally shut him down when they first time they met.
“When we first met in the audition room before any of us had booked it, we were sitting waiting in like the lobby and I saw her and I was like, ‘Hey do you want to run lines?’ And she was like, ‘No.’ I was like, ‘Oh, that’s cool, fine, I’ll just die here,'” he said.
Still, a couple of months later the pair eventually read together and the chemistry was undeniable, and thus our Peter Kavinsky and Lara Jean Covey were cast.
