The best of us have had a public emotional outburst at some point in our lives (just ask Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin), so the fact that Sophie Turner was snapped crying in the street is really no biggie.
But the Game Of Thrones babe has come out to explain why she was sobbing during a New York City outing with her fiancé, Joe Jonas, on his birthday.
After pictures emerged of Sophie struggling to contain her tears while Joe appeared to comfort her, the 22-year-old actress took to Twitter to clear things up.
Retweeting one of the pictures, she wrote: “Lol. Thank god I have a loving fiancé. Periods are a b**ch.”
Oh hun, we can so relate.
It’s unknown whether something triggered her tears, or if they were the result of straight-up hormone overload, but frankly, it’s none of our business anyway.
What we do know is that the engaged pair are totally supportive of one another, as their arms stayed firmly wrapped around each other throughout the ordeal.
The soon-to-be husband and wife had been out and about celebrating the DNCE frontman’s 29th birthday and were earlier pictured laughing as Joe took a ride on a scooter.
Earlier this week they were snapped living their absolute best lives in Miami, chilling poolside with four cocktails between them. The dream.
None of us are immune to getting emosh, including celebs, and we must say we’ve totally been there with this one.
